While this sounds incredibly strange and random, it has been confirmed that doing this is, indeed, a crime. However, the person remains at large! Now, law enforcement is trying to find out who has been leaving gallons of pee in an Oregon man’s recycling bin. This isn’t just a little bit of pee–it’s gallons! It’s been happening in Portland, Oregon which is known for being a bit weird. However, this is weird even for Portland! The homeowner, Alex Van Duyn, first noticed the problem back in September when his recycling wasn’t collected.
Someone Has Been Peeing In Oregon Man’s Recycling Bin
KWTX reports that Van Duyn noticed 6 gallon-sized bottles of pee in the recycling bin so it made sense why it wasn’t taken away. Urine is a biohazard. As time went by, he noticed the problem continuing so he stopped putting the bins outside and started using his neighbors.
Using surveillance video, he was able to see a man pull up to his house, get out of his car, and put the bottles of pee into the recycling bin, per KWTX. However, the videos are too grainy and haven’t helped identify the suspect. A police report has been filed . Hopefully they’re able to find out who’s behind this soon. You don’t want someone like that to keep coming by your house. Plus, you need to take out the recycling! You get a week behind and it can be hard to come back from.
