Why was a sick Chinese man taken to the bank in his hospital bed? His family needed to make a money transfer!

You would think that maybe the family can wait until you’re feeling a little bit better before they need your money. However, that’s not always the case. Sometimes they need that money so badly they can’t wait for you to get healthy. Instead, they’ll wheel you in your hospital bed to the bank so you can prove your identity in order to make a money transfer. Now, video of it is making the rounds on the internet.

Sick Man Taken To The Bank In His Hospital Bed

The video that’s gone viral online seems to show a woman struggling to push a man on a hospital bed into a bank. It sounds like she was told the only way she could access his account was to confirm his identity in person. Well, that would mean having to bring him in on his hospital bed, which she did.

It sounds like they tried to explain the situation but were told that they had to be able to prove his identity in person. Even though the man was severely sick and so sick that he couldn’t move he still had to come in to prove his identity so they could access his account! That means they had to get creative and do whatever necessary. Seems crazy in the age of the internet and with all the technology out there that’s accessible.

According to Oddity Central, the Shandong bank told the family that they could bring the account holder in an ambulance but the hospital didn’t allow that as their ambulances are only available for health-related emergencies and this didn’t classify under that restriction. It sounds like it was all a bit of a Catch 22 where the family needed to pay for his treatment but the only way to access his money was to endanger his life by removing him from the hospital to take him into the bank. The person in the video is believed to be his daughter who’s taking him to the bank.

Of course, this has started a debate online with many people in disbelief that it had to come down to this. Leave it to banks to make everything more difficult and annoying for you. It can never be easy at the bank! You can check out the viral video for yourself below. What do you think?
