TikToker Learns Cute Croissant Lamp Is Actually A Real Pastry
A TikToker learned that the cute croissant lamp she ordered on Temu is actually a real croissant! It’s just covered in resin!
You can’t blame her for thinking that it was just going to be a little lamp that looks like a croissant. It’s a popular food, the 2024 Paris Olympics probably got them out there a little more, and they’re a fun shape! Why not get a lamp like that? However, it wasn’t until she noticed ants that she discovered it was a real pastry!
Croissant Lamp On Temu Is A Real Pastry In Viral Video
If you weren’t aware, Temu is a great shop for cheap gifts. I mean, like, really cheap. However, you often get what you pay for. You’d think that would mean maybe the croissant lamp your ordered is fragile or maybe the light won’t work–that can all be expected. What you wouldn’t expect is to learn that it’s actually a real croissant that’s been covered in a resin!
TikTok user @froginahatgirl is going viral on the app for her very unique purchase. The viral video quickly amassed 11.9 million views on TikTok and also went viral on other social media apps where it gained nearly 18,000 comments! Of course, in true internet form, the comments are hilarious and well-worth scrolling through. Check out the trending video below. Warning! She uses some profanity in the video including several F-Bombs.
How crazy is that? It’s a real croissant! She can’t believe it as she breaks the thing open and learns that it truly is just a real pastry! In the video, she says, “So I got this Temu lamp as a gift from my sisters, and I had it in my room, and I came home from work after the hot day and there was like hundreds of ants underneath it.” That’s when her curiosity started and then we got to go through it all with her in the video. You’d never expect it to be real food!
Have you ever ordered anything off Temu? It’s a very unique website with some crazy finds. Sometimes, the discoveries are even more wild than you imagined it would be when you purchased the item. It’s a real waste of a delicious croissant, if you ask me. Guess I won’t be buying any food-shaped items off of Temu any time soon. Hopefully it’s just this one example. I’d hate to buy an action figure only to realize it contains real human parts, or something!
