Perks You Probably Didn’t Know About In Your Disney+ Subscription
If you have a Disney+ there’s more to your membership than just what you can watch. Disney+ Perks can include special access, offers, and discounts to movies, stage productions, studios, shopping/merchandise, Disney theme parks, Disney cruise lines, apparel, and sports. They may also include offers from Disney’s network of partners.
Disney Trips
Planning a visit to one of Disney’s parks? Disney+ subscribers can save a little extra. The company has rolled out a variety of special offers, including discounts on everything from admission tickets to hotel stays. Right now, there’s a deal that slashes up to 30% off accommodations at select Disney hotels if you stay for five nights or more.
Eating At Disney Parks
Earlier this year, Disney announced that Disney+ subscribers could snag a free dining plan on their vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth, according to Disney Parks Blog. To qualify, you’ll need to book a non-discounted 4-day, 4-night Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a stay at a Disney resort.
Just remember to check your calendar before booking! This deal has some blackout dates and is only available through September 30, 2024.
Sports
Most subscribers are in the loop, but some might not know that by opting for the Trio tier, you’ll also get access to ESPN+. While this bumps up your monthly cost from $7.99 to $14.99, it’s still a 45% savings compared to paying for each streaming service individually.
Watch On The Go
Sometimes not having access to Wi-Fi or cell service can limit how you stream on the go. Those who opt for the Disney+ Premium tier at $9.99 per month can load their devices with content to watch later, whether it’s on a long road trip or a flight.
Super Fan Access: Disney’s D23 Fan Club
As the company puts it, D23 membership “brings Disney fans closer to the ‘magic’ through one-of-a-kind experiences, special events, unique merchandise offerings, quarterly publications, exclusive online content, and opportunities to meet others who share the same affection for Disney,” offering an “insider look at every corner” of the brand’s movies and destinations.
While the company offers a free plan, you can opt to pay $99.99 per year for a Gold Membership with extra perks. However, if you’re already a Disney+ subscriber, you can join for half off, according to The Hollywood Reporter. At this tier, you’ll enjoy an annual collector’s set, a subscription to the Disney Twenty-Three publication, and access to special offers and events.
But Disney+ isn’t the only one offering perks! Amazon Prime members also enjoy a host of benefits, from photo and video storage to a baby registry box. Take a look at some of those here.
