Disappointing Fast-Food Birthday Dinner Leads To Wife’s Arrest
Fast-food is not the best birthday dinner. It’s your special day and you’re supposed to have something you love! Unfortunately, a disappointing fast-food birthday dinner ended with an arrest.
The incident happened at a home in St. Petersburg, Florida. It sounds like this husband was not pleased to have his birthday dinner be Taco Bell and McDonald’s and it started a serious fight between husband and wife!

Honestly, I think many of us here on Dave & Chuck The Freak would love a birthday dinner consisting of a combination of Taco Bell and McDonald’s. You can have a Chalupa, Big Mac, fries, and wash it all down with a refreshing Mountain Dew Baja Blast? That sounds amazing! Unfortunately, this guy wasn’t as happy or excited about his fast-food birthday dinner.
According to The Smoking Gun, Dr. Esha Persad, a 34-year old Dentist, allegedly threw a soft shell taco at her husband, the Birthday Boy, after an argument over getting him Taco Bell and McDonald’s for his birthday. When police arrived to the scene, the husband still had burrito on his face, per reports. Throughout the court report it mentions it was a soft shell taco and a burrito so we’re not sure what it actually was but it was some kind of tortilla.
Dr. Persad admitted to throwing the tortilla at her husband but claims it was after he had thrown a bag at her, which he denies doing, per The Smoking Gun. She has since been arrested for domestic battery which is a misdemeanor. She was later released from county jail on her own recognizance. All of this over a birthday dinner? I’ve heard of much worse birthday or celebratory dinners than fast-food. In fact, remember when President Trump treated the Clemson Tigers National Championship team to a massive fast-food spread featuring McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, and more? Sure, it was comical but if you were there you probably didn’t mind! How often do you get the opportunity to combine your favorite menu items from various fast-food locations? It never happens! I think this husband should be feeling grateful he was treated to a meal regardless of what it was. You ever have nobody reach out to make plans or celebrate you on your birthday? Yeah, that’s much worse! Take it from me. I wonder if they also got pops and mixed all the flavors together. That would be going all-out!
