Can you be too hot for jail? One Florida woman definitely seems to think so after being arrested for crashing her BMW into a Popeyes!

The accident happened in Miami, Florida after she was reportedly driving too fast for the road conditions. While the results of the crash are crazy, it’s actually what she said afterwards that’s getting attention online.

It’s not always the actions of a crime that get attention, sometimes it’s what is said afterwards. Although, with this story there are lots of things to take notice of. First, she ran her car into a Popeyes restaurant. Like, right into it. Second, she’s an attractive woman. She leaves that accident still looking quite good compared to how the building looks. Finally, there’s what she said to onlookers at the scene.

According to Law And Crime, the unidentified woman was cited for driving too fast for conditions and careless driving. It happened at a Popeyes on Seventh Avenue in Liberty City in Miami, Florida. Interestingly, she is not accused of being intoxicated at the time, per Law And Crime. You wouldn’t think that looking at the scene of the one-car accident.

Police tell Law And Crime, “Fortunately there were no serious reported injuries however, the investigation remains open as to the circumstances that led up to the crash.” Other factors could have contributed to the accident outside of alcohol such as distracted driving, texting, eating, or any number of variables. Law And Crime does report that the roads appeared to have been wet at the time due to rain so that could explain things.

Video was taken by witnesses at the scene which have now gone viral online. In the video, the woman can be seen saying, “Can you get me out of here, please? I can’ get charged with that. I can’t go to jail, I can’t go to jail. I won’t last there, you know?” Does she think she’s too hot for jail? That’s kind of what it sounds like! Also, lots of questions after seeing the video.
