Investigation Started After Kansas City Child Allegedly Comes Home From School Drunk
Did a Kansas City child come home from school drunk? That’s what the child’s mom is claiming after she believes he came home from summer school drunk!
Now, she’s trying to get an explanation and an investigation is now underway. Was the child actually drunk or was it hand sanitizer? Let’s dive in.
Kansas City Child Allegedly Comes Home From School Drunk
The alleged incident happened at Guadalupe Centers. While the mother is claiming her child was drunk, the Centers told KCTV5 that this, “may involve a child who ingested hand sanitizer.” It’s not likely both. So, what’s going on?
According to KCTV5, the Centers released a statement saying, “Guadalupe Centers is working closely to understand the circumstances surrounding this matter thoroughly, reaffirming our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our children. We cannot provide further details as this is an active investigation with which we are cooperating. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work diligently to ensure the safety and security of everyone involved.”
KCTV5 reports that the mom of the child took to Facebook to say that her child was intoxicated when she picked him up. According to her, her child was slurring their words, stumbling, and even hit their head. KCTV5 says the mom took her child to the doctor to get tested and the results came back positive for a “high level of alcohol.”
The child is now doing okay. The mom declined an on-camera interview with KCTV5 on advice from an attorney. Hopefully, their guess was right and it was a hand sanitizer incident. More information is expected to become public soon.
