Arby’s is the latest fast-food chain to get in on the meal deal game with an impressive bundle of their own. So, what do you get with Arby’s new meal deal for only $9? Find out below!
What Is Arby’s New Meal Deal?
Arby’s new meal deal will compete with similar deals at McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Sonic (among others). It seems like everyone is trying to get back into the value game in the fast-food world. It means they’ve heard our complaints that things have gotten a little bit too expensive for fast-food! We even started turning to sit-down restaurants over fast-food offerings because of convenience, and they can’t have that happening!
Now, it seems like every fast-food chain is rolling out a meal deal to compete. McDonald’s now has the $5 meal deal for a limited time. Burger King has its $5 Your Way Meal bundle. Then, Wendy’s has the $5 Biggie Bag and Sonic also recently introduced a $1.99 Menu that’s allegedly here to stay.
Now, Arby’s is here to show that not only do they have the meat, but also the value. According to QZ.com, the $9 bundle dubbed the “Shake Up Your Burger Meal” comes with a Deluxe Burger, medium crinkle or curly fries, and a regular shake (Chocolate, Orange Cream, Jamocha, or Vanilla). This bundle will only be available for a limited time.
I have to admit, their burgers do look good at Arby’s. I’ve seen them in the commercial, but I am still yet to have one. I’m a little worried that they are centering their bundle meal deal around the burger instead of their famous offerings like the Roast Beef. I’d much rather they stick to what they know and discount what they do best! If I want a burger I know I can consistently get a good one at McDonald’s, Burger King, or Wendy’s. Sure, it comes with a shake and that’s unique. However, I’m not sure if Arby’s new meal deal will be enough to really separate from the competition. What do you think? Let us know!

I have spent so much time in drive-thrus that I think I could be considered an expert witness in a court case, at this point. I’ve seen delicious items come and go, prices climb, and experiences all the promos and deals. Why did KFC get rid of the Twister? When will McDonald’s bring back the famous Snack Wraps? These are all questions I ask every day, and sadly have no answers for. However, one day…we will get them back. I truly believe it in my heart of hearts.
I could go on and on about my love for the value menu. I’d say at least once a week I think back on my high school days when the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger from Wendy’s was only 99 cents. Do you remember that? 99 cents! It was amazing. Now, the price for one JBC is closer to $3 than it is 99 cents. I feel like this is the new version of that old “back in my day, we’d walk 2 miles to school up hill both ways! stories your grandparents would tell. Now, these stories are all about how low the value menu prices were back in our day. “When I was your age, every item on the dollar menu was a dollar!”
