Woman Declared Dead Found Breathing At Nebraska Funeral Home
A woman declared dead was found breathing at a Nebraska funeral home! The Walking Dead is coming to life!
This is the second crazy story this week focused on a Nebraska Funeral Home! There was another story about a Nebraska Funeral Home Worker who allegedly attempted to steal a sex doll from a dead man’s home! What’s going on out there? Here’s more on the woman who was still alive!
Woman Declared Dead Found Breathing In Nebraska
According to KETV, 74-year-old Constance Glantz was mistakenly declared dead at a nursing home in Waverly, Nebraska! However, she was later breathing at a funeral home in Lincoln! KETV reports that law enforcement says funeral home staff was conducting CPR on Glantz when they arrived and she was pronounced dead at the nursing home.
KETV says staff at the facility mistakenly pronounced the hospice care patient dead. At the time there are no signs of criminal intent and there is an investigation underway. Sure, mistakes happen but that’s a pretty big one to make! Especially when there’s more than one way to ensure that a person is, indeed, dead. Even crazier this isn’t a case study! We talked about a similar story recently on Dave & Chuck The Freak! It’s crazy!
Lancaster County Sheriff Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says it’s a very unusual case, telling KETV, “Been doing this 31 years and nothing like this has ever gotten to this place before. There’s been people we’ve gone to and found before, but nothing like this has ever happened.”
Unfortunately, Glantz ended up actually dying later that day, per KETV. That had to have been an emotional roller coaster ride for the family. She’s gone…she’s back…she’s gone. Check out more on the woman declared dead in a video report shared by 6ABC Philadelphia on YouTube below!
