You’ve probably heard that you should never shop hungry. You’ll end up getting much more than you need at the grocery store. Well, it turns out you shouldn’t commit robberies hungry either. It could help lead to your capture! Here’s more on this story out of Indiana.
Man Stole Money And Funyuns During Crime Spree
It’s hard to blame the man who stole money and Funyuns. Funyuns are one of the most unique and delicious snacks available on the market shelves. There’s truly nothing else like them. So, when you have a chance to get some you’re almost compelled to get them. They say free Funyuns are the best Funyuns. However, that doesn’t mean you can steal them!
According to WRTV, Alonzo Sansbury, 55, was arrested after police used license plate reading technology to track him down after he reportedly robbed a Dollar Tree and Big Lots north of Indianapolis. Reports say he hit the Dollar Tree first where he attempted to pay with a fake $100 bill and then demanded money from the register, per WRTV. After, he allegedly stole money and Funyuns from Big Lots. When law enforcement located his car, they found a bag of Funyuns inside helping to identify him as the suspect in question. If he wasn’t so hungry while committing the crimes maybe he could have had a reason to get out of it. However, those delicious onion-tasting chips helped do him in. Don’t be like the guy who stole money and Funyuns.
I feel like my love for snacks could end up doing me in one day too. If there’s ever a crime filled with Cheeto dust–I might be a suspect. It’s hard to resist those whether it’s puff, crunchy, flamin’ hot–it doesn’t matter. I feel like that’s how Sansbury must feel about Funyuns. Doritos aren’t bad either, but Cheetos reign supreme.
