Florida Man Threatened Bartenders With A Gun
That’s right, a Florida Man threatened bartenders with a gun because he didn’t want them to close for the night! According to FOX 35 Orlando, Carlton Lacey was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. The incident happened at Big Dog Saloon in Mount Dora around 2:15am. FOX 35 Orlando reports that two bartenders said Lacey allegedly pulled a gun on them after they informed him it was time for the bar to close. It’s been reported when he was told it’s time to go he responded, “Who needs to leave?” as he flashed his gun from his waistband, per FOX 35 Orlando.
That sounds scary! If I tell you it’s time to go and you flash a gun at me, I’m asking you what else you’d like. Another round? You want food? I can go back in the kitchen and make something? You good? The bartenders then had to ask him to leave another time and he flashed the gun at the other bartender. Lacey continued to threaten the bartenders and refusing to leave.
When officers responded to the scene, Lacey reportedly ran away. When they later found him, during a traffic stop he denied possessing a gun or threatening the bartenders, and officers were unable to find a gun inside his car or the area he ran off to when they arrived, per FOX 35 Orlando. He remains in custody.
