Fast-Food Freakout: Subway Worker Punched Over Ham Deficiency
A Subway worker has been punched over a ham deficiency! Turns out, a customer was not pleased with the art they received from this sandwich artist.
People have set expectations on what their sandwich should look like, and if it doesn’t resemble what they pictured they’re going to let you know. At least this customer did. Here’s more on the trending story.
Subway Worker Punched Over Insufficient Ham
According to KOMO News, a Subway worker (manager, in fact!) is recovering from injuries to her face after a customer punched her in the face for not putting enough meat on his sandwich! We’ve gone from “Where’s the beef?” to “Where’s the pork?” With all due respect to Wendy’s.
The Subway worker, Monique Larios, tells KOMO News, “I did not expect this. He comes around the corner, and I go, ‘What are you going to do, hit me over ham?’ and he hit me. He punched me, and all I could remember is just black.” Turns out, she wasn’t even the one who made the sandwich! KOMO News reports the manager was called into the store that day by her employees who said a man was made because he didn’t get double ham on his sandwich. Well, like many restaurant and Subway locations, this one had cameras. So, they were able to prove that he paid to have six extra slices of meat–not 12, per KOMO News. He didn’t like hearing that and made the dumb decision to clock her in the face over it.
Now, that man has been identified as George Sandoval–the latest Scandoval, with respect to Bravo. Larios described Sandoval as 6’5 and almost 400 pounds while describing herself as only 4’11. What a jerk! Who does he think he is?
KOMO News reports the manager is still out on leave and plans on pressing charges and possibly suing Sandoval over the incident. See more below.
