Jaylen Brown is calling out Celtics fans. Apparently, Jaylen hasn't been happy with the energy of Celtics fans inside the Garden throughout these playoffs. During last night's post game press conference after the Celtics defeat of the Sixers, Jaylen said "The energy in the Garden has been, okay. At best. Game 7 if you there, or if you not there... I need you to be up, I need you to come with the energy because we gonna need every bit of it."
Jaylen has a point. Now, obviously fans are going to give the same energy they feel their team is giving them. But at some point, the fans may need to lift their team up when they're having a tough time. And the home court advantage is very important in the NBA. You can most definitely affect the outcome of a game depending on how intense and energetic you are in your seats. If you are privileged enough to be able to attend Game 7 on Sunday, you better be screaming the entire time. Not everyone has the ability to attend these games, so do not take it for granted.
As for the actual game, the Celtics will play the Sixers on Mother's Day Sunday in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semi Finals. The winner of Game 7 will move on to the Eastern Conference Finals where they will play either the Heat or the Knicks. The Heat are leading that series 3 games to 2 and they play Game 6 of that series tonight. But let's not think too far ahead here. The Celtics need to get by the Sixers first and foremost. And if you're at The Garden on Sunday, you better do your part. That is all. GO CELTICS!
Oh and one more thing, last and certainly not least...The CELTICS are the balls!

Is Boston the City With the Worst Sports Fans?
And by "worst sports fans" we're talking about the most vulgar sports fans. Let's see where Boston lands on the list.
Because of course Boston lands on the list. This should surprise no one. My two earliest sports memories involve vulgarity. As a kid, my dad took me to see the Celtics at the old Boston Garden. We were up in the balcony, and two rows in front of us was a guy with about a dozen empty beer cups stacked, shouting "LET'S GO CELTICS," followed by various profanity, at a full-throated bellow.
Then there was the New England Blazers game I went to in middle school. Remember that old lacrosse team? They played at the Worcester Centrum. I spent the night seated behind a guy named "Whitey" who was even drunker than the guy at the Celtics game. I know his name because his buddies were egging him on as he said things to the halftime entertainment that I won't repeat here.
Is Boston the City With the Worst Sports Fans?
So yeah, if by "worst" we mean "most vulgar"--and in this case, we do--Boston fans have earned that dubious distinction. Oddseeker recently published this: The Most Vulgar Fan Bases In The NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. And here's what their report had to say about Boston:
