Finding inspiration for Halloween costumes year after year is hard when you don’t want to look like everyone else. Though we appreciate those who dress up for the best holiday of the year, we don’t want to be a part of the mainstream.

This year, we’re sure to see an abundant amount of people dressed up as Squid Game characters and Cruella de Vil.

Check out these unique costume ideas that are sure to turn heads in the best way possible.

  • Oogie Boogie

An underrated Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween costume, the scariest potato sack you’ve ever encountered.

  • The Dayman

Fighter of the Nightman, Champion of the Sun! This hilarious costume from an It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode is sure to get people laughing. Bonus that its a pretty sharp suit!

  • Gogo Yubari

Everyone does the Kill Bill yellow jumpsuit, but the cooler character to go as is really Gogo Yubari. I mean, she has a chain mace!

  • Voodoo Magic

Now this is a costume! The accessories bring this voodoo magic costume to life and sure makes it easy to get into character.

  • Plague Doctor

This plague doctor costume is perfect for the times we are living in.

  • Master Roshi

This is the BEST Dragon Ball Z costume I’ve seen yet.

  • Raoul Duke

Looking to have a wild Halloween? Who else to dress as other than Johnny Depp’s Raoul Duke from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas?

  • Ursula

If you’re going to go Disney, Ursula is the way to go. The inflatable tentacles make this costume next-level.

  • Macho Man Randy Savage

OH, YEEEEAAH! Make sure to get your practice in to deliver that gravely Macho Man voice that you’ve been working on.

  • Jesus

The best dressed bowler in The Big Lebowski obviously goes to Jesus Quintana. Though he was on-screen for only a few minutes, he’s left a lasting impression on all who have watched the film.
