There's still time to get in some big summer fun, before it's back-to-school time. The Marshfield Fair is here with rides exhibits, music and fun! But, you know there's so much more! There are games, pumpkins, live action sporting events like the demolition derby, truck pulling, horse pulling and motocross. We can't forget all that delicious food! The Marshfield Fair is open daily from noon-10:00pm through this Sunday, August 27.

The music, live entertainment, exhibits, arts and crafts, 4-H, agricultural and horticultural events, as well as food, rides games and fun all kicked off last Friday and continues through August 27! You will see some very familiar names on the live music schedule. The giant pumpkins may be a sign of Fall, but the Marshfield Fair is all about the summer fun. The humble beginnings of this beloved event started as an agricultural and horticultural gathering way back in 1862. It's main goals were to "educated, develop, improve and promote their arts and related fields," according to their website. It was originally called the South Marshfield Farmer’s Club. Those goals, and far beyond, continue every August through the annual Marshfield Fair. Today it's known as a great family event that offers something for everyone, from carnival rides to farm animals, horticultural exhibits to live music. A Mega Pass  includes admission and unlimited mechanical rides. The price is $60

Your Mega Pass wristband is valid the entire day on the day of your choice. It Does not include bumper cars, rockwall, bungee or mechanical bull. With a Megapass you can ride for 10 hours! Plus, you can spend the day at the fair, see the exhibits, shows and concerts and don’t forget the derbies and other grandstand entertainment and you will have the opportunity for unlimited mechanical rides in between all of those fun family activities!

Take 93 south to Rt. 3 south exit 27. Turn right at the lights (east on Rt.139), at the 4th set of lights, 2.7 miles, turn left onto Rt. 3A north. The Marshfield Fair is one block on the right.
