A Sperm Racing League is certainly something I've never thought about, but you can bet on just about anything these days. A start-up in Los Angeles is launching the first Sperm Racing League, they even built a microscopic track so the swimmers can go head-to-head to see who's the fastest. The first event will reportedly be livestreamed on April 25th and, yes, you can bet on it. Check out a promo video for the Sperm Racing League here.

Is this something you could see yourself betting on? It's very unique. It goes to show how far technology has gone, it's super cool what they were able to build and what they're doing. You'd never think about it but someone has!

According to KTLA, the company has recently raised $1 million in support. Could this end up being the next big sport? Every move will be tracked by high-resolution cameras and there will even be leaderboards. I'm very curious to see how this ends up looking. They seem to be putting a lot of effort into it all, so hopefully it all goes as planned.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
