When you think St. Patrick's Day, you think Boston, right? From the Southie Parade to the number of Irish bars within city limits, we should be at the top o' the heap, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, as it were.
Apparently we're not. Philadelphia takes the gold from us in the latest report done by WalletHub, a financial literacy website.
A WalletHub study compared 200 U.S. cities on 18 key factors, from Irish pubs and restaurants per capita to the cheapest three-star hotel on St. Patrick's Day.
That put Boston at #2, just behind Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. But let's take a look at those factors they measured.

Boston came in first for St. Patrick's Day parties and festivals, 7th in Irish pubs & bars per capita, and 8th when it comes to the number of people who claim Irish heritage living here.
