Kane’s Donuts Wins Groundhog Day with Cute Groundhog Specialty Donut
I love when brands go all-in on special events and holidays. We should learn from Google. They “Googlize” their logo on the landing page for all sorts of events – big and small. I think there’s something special about that surprise.
Well I experienced that same surprise from a local brand today. Kane’s Donuts is sooooo good at Googlizing and making specialty donuts for big events and holidays. They’re serving a special donut for Groundhog Day this year and dang is it cute. Not that Punxsutawney Phil really deserves a cakey nod in his honor – his prediction success rate is pretty downright awful. He has seen his shadow approximately 84% of the time he’s popped out of that hole in the ground. And according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Centers for Environmental Information he’s only been correct 40% of the time! So really – whatever the groundhog says – we’d be better off banking on the opposite.
I’m not here to trash the poor groundhog. (Though his predictions are trash. Whoops, there I go again.) I’m here to show off his brand new Kane’s Donut feature. Here he is, in all his eat-yo-garden glory:

Just be sure to brush after wolfing down your little sugar sweet groundhog because…. we got some good teeth to keep shining bright in Massachusetts!
A new study by Wallet Hub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 25 key indicators of dental wellness to give us a lay of the land when it comes to teeth and gums. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for dental health. And Massachusetts did pretty, pretty good:
