MBTA Asking Massachusetts Residents to Pick New Green Line Car Design – see the options!
The MBTA is letting it’s riders pick the design of it’s new Green Line cars. There’s Option A, Option B, or Option C but I’ll take Option D: it can look however it wants as long as it works.
Ok now that I got my snark out of the way, I’d actually like to applaud the MBTA for this idea. I think it’s a cool local event that will have an impact that you’ll actually can see and feel and ride. Plus nowadays humans seem to agree on very little so why not give them something else to disagree about. Sorry, more snark.
The three options almost read like a Highlights Magazine in the waiting room of the doctor’s office. Spot the differences!
(Answer: one car has green doors and gray paneling, one car has gray doors and green and white paneling, and the third car has both green doors and green paneling.
I have a clear favorite so judging by my personal taste almost never being the popular taste, I don’t like Option A’s chances. But I think all three are suitable options. Here, have a look:
