The ladies of ABC's The View disagreed on the Miranda Lambert selfie controversy, where Lambert called out fans taking a selfie while singing her song "Tin Man" at a Las Vegas show. Fans all over the internet have been torn, with some supporting Miranda and others not so much.

EGOT winner and The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg supports Lambert's move to stop the song and call out the fans. Her co-host Sunny Hostin did not agree, telling Goldberg, "I'm not split on this at all," adding that she would take as many selfies as she wanted if she paid $757 for the concert ticket.

Whoopi said that she thinks what Lambert did was warranted, saying, "If they paid money for the tickets, they came to see her. So if she's singing, at least show a little respect." Goldberg said that she (Lambert) could see that the fans were ignoring her performance and compared it to a lounge singer that no one was listening to. She said, "That's what it's like for her."

Goldberg then walked off the set, saying, "I'm leaving you all." Hostin asked where she was going, and Whoopi said, "I want to take a picture with this marvelous woman who is 91."

As we reported after it happened, Miranda stopped her show in Las Vegas over the weekend when she began to sing "Tin Man," and some fans up front were bothering her. One fan posted the tense moment where Miranda can be seen tapping her foot as she spoke on TikTok.

Lambert says in the video, "I'm gonna stop right here for a second; I'm sorry." She then looks down in the first few rows and points, "These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song."

She continued, "It's pissing me off a little bit. Sorry, I don't like it. At all. We're here to hear some country music tonight. I'm singing some country damn music."

Many fans were unhappy with the interaction with the crowd, and one fan wrote; I would have gone home after that." While several fans did defend her, with one saying, "I kinda like this," another fan commented, "What a Diva." Watch the TikTok video here.
