What was once considered baggage is now considered to be an asset, we’re talking about having kids as opposed to being footloose and fancy free.
Dads are in demand!
it’s difficult to dive into the dating scene when you’re a single parent. Let’s be honest you have much less freedom to spend your nights out on the town, and you have to sell someone else on yourself and your children. Of course we don’t mean that you have to sell your children to a potential partner, it means you have to find someone who is open to the idea of dating a single parent.
For some prospective partners it’s a plus
A new survey from dating.com shows at 60% of single women are open to dating single dads.
These women are less willing to put up with indecisiveness in certainty and immaturity. A single dad may be more likely to be stable responsible mature and they’re less likely to play games.
Here are a few other stats from the same survey
75% of single people say they match having a kid would have a little to no impact on their interest in dating them.
95% said the mat should be upfront about having a kid on the first date don’t hide it but they wouldn’t need to meet the kid early on. 60% said it could happen for the first time after six months of dating.
