Actually, I'm Adam 12. And I'm writing this. So I should probably say: join ME for a Dropkick Murphys pre-party. That makes much more sense.

You can find me at the Cask N' Flagon at the top of Lansdowne St. in Boston on Thursday, March 16 from 4-6 p.m. I'll be "broadcasting live." I put that last bit in quotes because all I'm doing is just cutting in on Hardy's show a couple times an hour. It's actually pretty cool: I do it all on an iPad. Don't need a big ol' broadcast truck like we did back in the day. Now that I'm talking about it, I should probably let Hardy know that I'm going to be cutting in on his show. Don't want him to be surprised.

This is all in celebration of the Dropkick Murphys annual run of St. Patrick's Day shows in Boston. The 2023 edition kicks off on Thursday night at MGM Music Hall at Fenway. The band plays two more shows at that spiffy new venue on actual St. Patrick's Day on Friday, then again on Saturday night. On Sunday, the operation moves across the street to the House of Blues as they close down St. Patrick's Weekend.

In addition to "broadcasting live" on Thursday, I'll be giving away tickets to that night's show. I'd like to thank our sponsor, the brand new White Claw Vodka Soda. And yes, I realize the Big College Basketball Tournament will be underway come Thursday afternoon, so we'll have that up on the screens at the Cask, too.

In the meantime--and to get you psyched up for the weekend--dive into my Top 12 Dropkick Murphys Songs For St. Patrick’s Day, which you can scroll through below. I'm sure you'll hear a few of them live this weekend.
