This One’s For the Old-School Gamers in Quarantine
Some of us are gaming our way through the Coronavirus crisis with games like Animal Crossing and the like. I broke out my 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System.
Truth be told, my NES is always out. And when I fire it up, it’s to play the original Mega Man series. A few weeks ago, I actually livestreamed a playthrough of Mega Man 2 on Facebook. I beat the game, of course.
So when this came across my feed, I was stoked. It’s the rock band Psychostick re-writing Heart’s “Magic Man” as an ode to Mega Man. If you’re an old-school Nintendo head like me, it’ll put a smile on your face.
