Online music company Bandcamp has a motto: "Discover amazing music and directly support the artists that make it." Let's do that this Friday, March 20.

Bandcamp already has a very artist-friendly business model. With the Coronavirus pandemic forcing musicians to suspend tours and cancel live shows, the company is becoming even more artist-friendly:

"To raise even more awareness around the pandemic’s impact on musicians everywhere, we’re waiving our revenue share on sales this Friday, March 20 (from midnight to midnight Pacific Time), and rallying the Bandcamp community to put much needed money directly into artists’ pockets."

I've been a long-time proponent of Bandcamp: they're the digital platform that does the most for artists. So this is totally in line with what they do, and I'm happy to help get the word out. Click here for the full statement from Bandcamp, then click here to start discovering music. Oh, and you can check out my Bandcamp page here to see (and hear) what I've been listening to.
