Incredible timing for black bear who roamed Arlington neighborhood the morning after Bruins win

Is this a good omen for the Boston Bruins? Hard not to feel that way after an actual bear found its way into a quiet neighborhood in Arlington.

According to the Boston Herald, police had to quickly warn residents in the vicinity of the black bear not to walk their dogs and stay inside. The bear eventually got cornered and had to try to escape into a tree. Mass. Environmental Police tranquilized the bear and safely loaded it into a truck, where it will be brought back to the western Mass. forest area it wandered away from on Friday.

Local bear biologist Dave Wattles told CBS Boston that the bear will receive a yellow tag marking him as a "nuisance bear". It previously had a blue tag, indicating a bear being tracked for research purposes.

Jobs well done all around to wrangle this bear, keep Arlington safe, and help the bear get back to its natural habitat. But if you're a superstitious or spiritual type, you have to feel this bear got possessed by the excitement of the Bruins' success and zombie-walked its way into Greater Boston after the B's advanced to the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday night.

Guess Boston should be on the lookout for more of them. The Bruins still have some work to do.
