Yes, it's glistening once again (to steal some Christmas carol lyrics). Neighborhoods are all aglow. It really is beautiful strolling around the streets of our towns. But where are the best Christmas lights displays?
It's not "The Great Christmas Light Fight," but I'm sure there is some competition among neighbors. I find inspiration in looking around my town. Some people are all white lights, some are aglow with color, others are all about the blow-up animated Christmas characters. Most of us are content with a string of lights and a wreath. We like to leave it to the semi-pro "lighters." Santa may have a naughty and nice list, but we just have a very nice list of neighborhoods, businesses and communities in New England that will really light up our spirits and holidays.
