Pay Ball! Well, that’s what you’ll be saying after going to an MLB game this season.
Especially if your home team is in a major market, i.e. New York, Los Angeles, or Boston. But just like with any professional sporting event, it’s not particularly cheap to do so.
Bookies.com calculated the cost of attending MLB Games at each ballpark this season and determined that a family of four will spend on average $149.03 (for four tickets, lot parking, two beers, two sodas and four hot dogs).
That’s just an average, they don’t include if you wanted to buy a jersey or say maybe a hat. If your really smart you’d pre-game before heading in and maybe save you a few extra dollars!

If you like expensive birdwatching, Camden Yards is for you with an average of $148.68 for a family.

You would think with their payroll they would be higher, but surprisingly you can see the Bronx Bombers for an average of $160.60.
9. Cleveland Guardians – Progressive Field
You better Guard your wallet! The average cost is $161.45 to go to a baseball game in Cleveland.
8. Tampa Bay Rays – Tropicana Field
The Trop has to pay for all of that precious air conditioning so they will squeeze $171.90 out of you for a family of four.
7. St. Louis Cardinals – Busch Stadium
The price is not Busch league, it's going to cost you on average $172.39 to see a game in St. Louis.

It's going to cost you a Giant fee of $180.90 for a day at the park in San Francisco.

Congress should act to lower the price of seeing the Nats at $185.30, after all, the ballpark is just down the road from Capitol Hill.
