The Boston Brewery Battle continues! The forth round is here, so let’s pour a few pints from our eight elite Boston breweries.

If you’re just tuning in, we kicked off the month of June with the return of Boston’s Brewery Battle. Using a mix of your feedback and ROCK 92.9 beer enthusiasts (Adam 12), we identified 64 Massachusetts breweries and taprooms that do a damn fine job of slinging the suds. We profiled all 64 at the beginning of the first round; feel free to take a look at that and meet the full field of players.

And for you bracketologists, know this: the top four seeds were made up of the top four finishers in 2020. That’s the last time we trotted out this particular bracket. We thought it only fair to make 2020’s winner the one-seed in 2023. And it made sense, too, give high seeding to the three runners-up in 2020. If you’d like to see those breweries, we have a recap of the 2020 contest here.

Elite Boston Breweries: The Elite 8 in Boston's Brewery Battle

Earlier this week, we kicked off the third round, aka the Sweet 16, aka the Sudsy 16. It was a short round, lasting only a few days, featuring some well-known Massachusetts craft beer brands along with some lesser-known brewers with passionate fans. But, as these things tend to go, the round wrapped up, the sixteen became eight, and here we are on to the forth round.

In a stunning upset, the 2020 champion has been ousted. But the matchups that remain are still as strong as can be.  So cast your votes! Then text the bracket to your beer-loving buddies and have them do the same! Then share the bracket on your social media platform of choice and tag that beloved brewery! Round Four wraps up on Monday, June 26, so get your votes in ASAP!

Cisco Brewers

The Gray Lady herself knocked out the reigning champ, Vitamin Sea Brewing. Can Cisco make it to the Final Four?

Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co.

From "the foothills of Beaver Brook Reservation in Waltham, MA." This is one mighty squirrel, to be sure.

Night Shift Brewing

The little Everett brewery that's taken over Boston and beyond is taking it into the Elite 8.

Berkley Beer Company

Berkley Beer Company's slogan is "Waste not, want another" and they've wasted no time making their way through this bracket.

Tree House Brewing Co.

An early favorite to win it all. But they're going up against another fan favorite...

Trillium Brewing

...in Trillium, who's new Boston Common beer garden might be giving them a big boost.

Devil's Purse Brewery

People across the Commonwealth are learning what Cape folks have known for years: Devil's Purse is one of the best.

Widowmaker Brewing

The Braintree brewery is expanding their reach into Brighton. Can they "expand" into the Final Four?
