It's happening. And there's nothing we can do to slow it down, so I jumping on board the Christmas train. It hit me over the weekend in Home Depot. Christmas music was playing, and it was 73 degrees outside. The holiday vomit is everywhere (figuratively speaking, of course). Therefore, I suggest little bites of the big picture. Here's one of them.
The tourist publication, Travel & Leisure has released a list of the 25 best Christmas towns in the USA. I tore open the shutter(for better lighting to read into this story), when what to my wondering eyes should appear, but 4 charming little New England Towns named as the best for Christmas cheer. On Mass, on New Hampshire, On Rhode Island and Maine! We're so proud to see that you have been named! So, now I will name names. Congratulations to Nantucket, Massachusetts, Newport, Rhode Island, Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Ogunquit, Maine. Find out where they fell within the top 25 of the "best holiday destinations in the country for you to travel to in December." (Travel & Leisure)
1. Apen, Colorado
There's no denying the sparkle of this quaint and affluent town, when the Colorado snow beams bright in the Christmas lights. We get why it ranks high.
2. Ogunquit, Maine
Everyone loves Ogunquit in summer. What a beautiful coast and charming little town. But travelers still come to this favorite Maine destination in the winter because it's beaming with holiday cheer, and the price is right! According to Travel & Leisure, " Mid-December's Christmas by the Sea festival typically includes a bonfire on the beach and visits with Santa. From Ogunquit, you can also easily reach two shopping areas for getting through your list: the Kittery Outlets and, an hour away, Freeport, where you can shop at the L.L. Bean Flagship store and pose with the famously big boot. For distinctive local shopping, browse the Harbor Candy Shop, where the gift boxes pack in holiday charm."

Someday I will get to this gorgeous Colorado haven.
4. Nantucket, Massachusetts
As Travel & Leisure explains the now famous Nantucket Christmas Stroll began in island town in the 1970s "when local shopkeepers stayed open later in order to prevent locals from having to travel to Cape Cod for their holiday shopping. Today, during the annual Christmas Stroll — typically the first weekend in December — you can shop downtown amid dozens of seven-foot, decorated Christmas trees, and take part in wine tastings, ghost walks, and home tours."
5. Orlando, Florida
The holidays are magical, so course a magical place like Disney World in Orlando, Florida would make the cut for one of the best Christmas towns.
