As a way to thank customers, Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops set aside a day every year to happily scoop its popular ice cream at no cost — FREE Cone Day.

After a FOUR year hiatus (thanks, COVID) a Free Ice Cream Cone at Ben & Jerry’s is back this Monday April 3.

And we are VERY grateful.

And you know, Mondays are notorious for being the least favorite day of the week for most people. The weekend has just ended and the long workweek looms ahead, so it’s understandable that people might feel a little down in the dumps.

But imagine this: You walk into your local Ben and Jerry’s ice cream shop, and there’s a sign that says “Free Ice Cream Cones!”

Suddenly, the world doesn’t seem so bad anymore.

Maybe you’ll go for the classic Cherry Garcia, or maybe you’ll be adventurous and try the Phish Food.

And then, when you finally take that first bite, all your worries disappear. The creamy, sweet, deliciousness of that ice cream cone just melts away all your stress and anxiety. You forget about that looming deadline at work, or the fact that you didn’t get enough sleep last night.

Nope, all you can think about is how freaking amazing this free ice cream cone is. And suddenly, Mondays don’t seem so bad after all.

So there you have it folks. The best way to start a Monday is with a free Ben and Jerry’s ice cream cone.

(And don’t worry. In years’ past, the company has scooped more than a million complimentary cones on the special day. So they’re ready for the rush!)  Limit one cone per customer, while supplies last.

FYI: Free Cone Day is typically a day to also introduce new limited-time or seasonal flavors for the year.

If you haven’t tried them, it’s the perfect opportunity to give them a lick, according to Ben & Jerry.

Free Cone Day is being celebrated in Scoop Shops around the world between 12pm and 8pm!
