The beginning of this year's Fenway Concert Series is right in front of us. Kane Brown steps up to the plate Friday, leading off an impressive 2023 concert lineup at Fenway Park. 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the Fenway Concert Series. Over the past two decades, the legendary park has served as the grounds for some remarkable music evenings. Everyone from Bruce Springsteen to Aerosmith to Lady Gaga have performed by the Big Green Monster.
What started as one special show per year has now evolved into a fuller calendar of dates. Typically this venue bills the biggest artists in the world across every genre of music.
Field of Dreams
The stage is built upon the center field grass. The left field Big Green Monster serves as a picturesque backdrop, while there is a main entrance onto the lawn from right field. The infield is typically covered and roped off, but nonetheless, you can feel the stadium magic from wherever you are seated inside the park.
Often, the artists playing Fenway have well-known acts as support as well. Hometown heroes Dropkick Murphys have opened shows here numerous times. Furthermore, they performed one of the most meaningful shows at the stadium in 2020. It was to a completely empty park. "Streaming Outta Fenway" in 2020 was a pandemic special live stream. It featured a special appearance by Bruce Springsteen. Speaking of the Boss, he has played Fenway four times. The first time was in 2003.
2023 Lineup Card
The headliners this year are keeping in tradition with the fellow acts they have performing with them. Though there are eight official acts ticketed to play, Fenway will actually host 12 shows this year. Three artists are playing multiple nights. Some bands are taking this stage for the first time.
It all gets underway this weekend with three shows in a row, Friday through Sunday. To build the excitement, let's take a look at the whole 2023 concert lineup at Fenway Park to get the summer party started.
Kane Brown - June 23

Leading off is The "Drunk or Dreaming Tour" with Kane Brown kicking off the 2023 Fenway Concert Series. Darius Rucker and Gabby Barrett are the support acts.
Dead & Company - June 24, 25

Batting second, and taking the stage the night after Brown, Dead and Company return to Fenway for two epic shows over the weekend. This jam band played Fenway in 2016 and 2017, with two nights each year. This is their farewell tour, so if you want to catch their "long strange trip," this is one of your last chances!
P!nk- July 31 and August 2

P!NK brings her high-flying energy to Fenway on Monday July 31 and Tuesday August 2. This will be the pop star's first show at Fenway. She has Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo and Grouplove on the bill with her.
Fall Out Boy - August 2

Batting cleanup, this will be Fall Out Boy's first official Fenway Park show, although it was not supposed to be. The band had to back out of their date with Green Day and Weezer in 2021 due to positive COVID cases in the band. They will be performing this year the night right after P!NK.
Morgan Wallen - August 16, 17, 18

Country star Morgan Wallen is making his first Fenway Park tour stop as a headliner. Wallen opened Luke Bryan's show in 2018. Wallen is the only artist this summer who is playing a three night series.
Zac Brown Band - August 19

The Zac Brown Band has become synonymous with incredible Fenway Park concerts. They played the park last July and next door at the MGM Music Hall this past April. Their celebratory sets typically include unexpected cover songs.
Guns N' Roses - August 21

The sixth stop for GN'R on their summer tour finds these legendary rockers on a nightrain back to Fenway. The Pretenders are set to open. Two years ago Guns N' Roses played their first show at the ballpark, performing 21 songs over two hours.
Gorillaz - September 19

The grand finale of the 2023 Fenway Concert Series is Gorillaz.
