The volunteer-led organization behind New England's largest Pride celebration has set the date for the 2025 Pride Parade. Boston Pride for the People will host the Pride Parade on Saturday, June 14. The parade will be held in connection with festivals on Boston Common and at City Hall Plaza.

According to Boston Pride for the People, the parade will begin in Copley Square and make its way through the South End and Back Bay, concluding at Boston Common. There, an all-ages concert and festival will continue the Pride-themed celebration. In the afternoon, City Hall Plaza will be the setting for a block party for guests 21 and older.

Registration is open for organizations wishing to participate in the parade and festivals. Boston Pride for the People also invites community members to share their ideas for this year's theme. Forms are available on the organization's website. Sponsorship and volunteer information is available online.

“Boston always leads as a beacon of love, resilience, and inclusion,” Mayor Michelle Wu said in a media statement shared with NBC10 News Boston. “As we come together for the 2025 Boston Pride for the People Parade and Celebration, we honor the vibrant diversity of our LGBTQ+ community. In the face of uncertainty, our city remains unwavering in its commitment to equality and justice for all.”

According to the NBC10 News report, more than 1 million people attended the Pride Parade and Festivals in June 2024, which was Boston Pride for the People's second year as event organizers. An estimated 15,000 people marched in the 2024 parade, with 316 contingent groups participating.
