Methuen Festival of Trees Open For The Holiday Season & Hits $2 Million Mark In Donations After 31 Years
Opening night, First Night in the Magical Forest was held on November 22, 2024 and kicked off this year’s month-long event. The winter wonderland shows off 300 beautifully decorated trees and wreaths through December 7 and is open weekdays from 5pm – 9pm and weekends 9am – 9pm. Reservations are required and must be purchased in advance online.
The Methuen Festival of Trees has donated $2 million since 1994 to restore historic sites around the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire. What began as a volunteers just hoping to save the 1830’s Tenney Gate House, grew into something much bigger that would stick around for decades. The Festival has helped over 25 communities with preservation projects throughout the region.
