Harpoon Brewery: Details on Octoberfest & Dogtoberfest
Harpoon Brewery is hosting one epic weekend beginning October 4 through October 6 with their Octoberfest and Dogtoberfest events.
Octoberfest will take place on October 4 (6-11 PM) and October 5 (12-7 PM), while Dogtoberfest takes place on October 6 (10 AM-2 PM). Both events will take place at Harpoon Brewery located at 306 Northern Ave in Boston.
The Octoberfest event will be packed with activities, including stein-hoisting competitions and pretzel-eating contests. Attendees can earn $20 back when they share their referral code from their confirmation email after four friends buy tickets. On top of that, a Saturday Only Beer Hall Access Pass is available that includes a $25 store merchandise certificate, access to the beer hall restrooms, a free pretzel and a commemorative 2024 Octoberfest stein. Complete Octoberfest details can be found here.
As for Dogtoberfest, the event features the Fest-minster Dog Show, where your furry friends can take part in four categories: The high five contest, the look-a-like contest, the trick contest and the costume contest. If some cardio is more your thing, there’s always the Fast & Furriest Fun Run/Walk. While there will be a bar for dog parents, Harpoon’s has also crafted its Bow Wow Brew, which is safe for dogs. Harpoon Brewery Launches Limited-Edition Harvest Lager with L.L. Bean
Harpoon Brewery and L.L. Bean have joined forces and created Harvest Lager, a new limited-edition beer.
Harvest Lager features a 5% ABV and is brewed with locally sourced Maine-grown malt. It’s available in 16-ounce four-packs and on draft at select places in New England. Additionally, 12-ounce cans of Harvest Lager are included in Harpoon’s Fall Mix 12-pack, which also contains Harpoon IPA, Octoberfest, and Flannel Friday, Harpoon’s signature fall seasonal beer. The new beer will also be available at Harpoon Brewery’s Octoberfest celebration taking place on Oct. 4 and 5.
In a statement, CEO and Co-Founder of Mass. Bay Brewing Company Dan Kenary said, “As a company that prides itself on creating high-quality products focused on craftsmanship, it felt natural to team up with a brand that shared that core value — and is equally as iconic to our New England fan base. Especially as we head into fall, one of the most quintessential seasons for both brands, it was our mission from the start to create a beer that could be enjoyed by everyone outdoors — whether you’re a weekend warrior, urban explorer, or simply looking for a delicious new lager to try out with friends.”
L.L.Bean Chief Marketing Officer Nick Wilkoff added, “At L.L.Bean, we’re passionate about celebrating the spirit of New England and the joy of the outdoors, and our partnership with Harpoon Brewery captures that perfectly. From our limited-edition Harvest Lager to the fall pop-up events, we’re excited to offer new ways for people to enjoy the season with friends and family, continuing our tradition of bringing people together outside for more than 100 years.”
