Mecha Noodle Bar: Serving Great Noods And Local Communities
Mecha Noodle Bar has become one of my favorites places to grab a guaranteed delicious meal, and cool vibes to hang out with friends. Noods, drinks, incredible music, and more. And Mecha doesn’t just serve up great noods, they serve their local communities as well.
Mecha Noodle Bar Serving Local Communities
Mecha Noodle Bar is a Connecticut-based chain restaurant that opened in 2013, and has two Boston-area locations. One is in Boston’s Fort Point area, and the other is in Coolidge Corner in Brookline. According to Mecha, they serve, “Pho, ramen, and cocktails — we serve local communities by providing Asian comfort food while paying it forward.”
Tony Pham and his childhood best friend Rich Reyes are the co-founders of Mecha Noodle Bar. There partnership is based on two things: growing the business and paying it forward. They started the Eat Justice Foundation to do just that. Their motto: Profit matters. People matter more. A portion of their monthly profits goes toward various local community organizations. Love that!
Show Me The Noods!
Ok let’s get to the food. I’ve only been to Mecha Noodle bar twice, and it was so good that I ordered the exact same thing both times that I went. Here’s my order.
Final Thoughts On Mecha Noodle Bar
In addition to the incredible food, I have to say that the vibes, in the form of the top-tier music selection, is a great addition to the menu. Featuring classic old-school hip hop, you’ll be dancing in your seat as you slurp down your noodles. The service is great, the staff is friendly, and they’re great at accommodating special requests. So if you’re a vegetarian or vegan, have allergies, or just don’t like something, they’re great with that.
Just a note, they don’t take reservations and it’s first-come, first-serve.
