Billy Corgan's Adventures in Carnyland premieres today (May 14) on The CW app and CWTV.com, but fans can check out a preview of the show via its official trailer.

The trailer kicks off with Corgan saying, "Every day I question my sanity, 'cause I have a really good day job." He has a point there. After all, how many rock stars decide to not only dabble in professional wrestling but buy and run a historic wrestling promotion?

Per the trailer's description on YouTube, Billy Corgan's Adventures in Carnyland has eight episodes and will focus on Corgan as he tries to balance his many unique life roles. Not only does he own the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), but he still has a very active music career with Smashing Pumpkins, and he's married and a father to two young children.

As previously reported, Corgan, a long-time wrestling fan, purchased the legendary NWA in 2017, which has led to the creation of the weekly show NWA Powerrr and the docuseries Ten Pounds of Gold.

More and more people have side hustles (aka: second jobs) nowadays, and that also includes rock stars.

One of those rock stars with side hustles is David Lee Roth, who celebrates his birthday today (October 10.) In honor of DLR's birthday, here's a look at what he and other rock stars do for work when they're not on stage or in the studio.

Roth launched Ink The Original, the tattoo skincare line with tattoo artist Ami James, in 2018.  The line’s products contain various moisturizers and sunscreens to prevent tattoos from fading over time.

Most Smashing Pumpkins fans know Corgan has been a big wrestling fan for years, and while he’s dabbled in wrestling promotion a couple of times, his latest venture with the National Wrestling Alliance is looking to be his biggest success in wrestling yet.

When Downing exited Judas Priest in 2011, the last thing fans likely expected him to do was launch his own fragrance, but that’s exactly what the iconic metal guitarist did in 2014 with Metal for Men, which now has a women’s fragrance, too.

Leave it to Maynard to be ahead of the curve when it comes to side businesses.  Before wine culture really became huge, he launched Cadeceus Cellars in 2004.
