Boston Lobster Establishment Recognized As One Of The Best Seafood Restaurants
In New England Seafood is certainly loved and ordered all year long, although it feels like more of a warm weather meal. It simply pairs well with eating outside, summer cocktails, and sunshine. Food Network detailed the Massachusetts best seafood and in Boston, it was a specific lobster pound that got the nod.
Coincidentally in Red Sox country, Yankee Lobster Company was named the seafood restaurant you have to try in the Bay State. It is located at 300 Northern Ave. Open daily at 11 AM, Yankees Lobster stays open through dinner time.
Obviously, lobster is the most popular menu item here. In fact, there are eight different options. There are three different roll types: traditional, hot buttered, and fried. All are served with fresh-cut fries. They also offer 1-3 lobster platters. All of these are served with slaw and butter. The most unique lobster creations include a lobster melt (with cheese and mayonnaise) and lobster mac and cheese.
If other summertime favorite seafood options are more your flavor, you can indulge in those options at Yankee Lobster Company as well. “The Fisherman’s Platter, with fish, shrimp, scallops, and whole clam bellies, is the stuff dreams are made of, with the rare combination of perfect crunch and extremely fresh seafood steaming inside the golden-brown crust,” Food Network says.
A Perfect New England Seafood Night
In addition to the great seafood cuisine at Yankee Lobster Company, its location allows for a perfect summer evening. It’s neighbors with the Leader Bank Pavilion. As you may know, this open-air concert venue is one of the best settings in the city. You’re watching a live concert with the Boston Harbor in the background.
So, you can grab some delicious pre-show food at Yankee Lobster and then head next door for drinks and a fun summer concert. Given the larger seating capacity at Leader Bank, many bigger-name artists play this spot. For example, Roger Daltrey, Halestorm, Slash, Black Pumas, Melissa Etheridge, and Warren Haynes are just some of the artists scheduled to play here this coming summer.
