Jack Black is entering his pop star girl era. The actor posted a new TikTok video that has fans begging for a pop album they never knew they needed until now. An iconic cover of a Britney Spears classic has stunned his fans with "Tenacious B." Wearing a flamboyant, flaming phoenix tie-dye outfit, Black, 54, sings a cover of Spears' debut 1999 single, "…Baby One More Time." His is accompanied by Tenacious D bandmate and lifelong friend Kyle Gass. The two put their dramatic, larger-than-life spin on the pop track. "... Baby One More Time," of course, is one of the best-selling singles of all time, with over 10 million copies sold. The end of the clip shows the School of Rock alum punch his fist toward the camera, revealing his knuckles reading: "BABY."

TikTok users went wild for the pop-goes-rock cover, showering the video with praise. One fan, with over 30,000 likes commented, "I would love an album that's just jack black covering early 2000 white girl music." A second echoed the same idea, commenting, "So when do we get a Tenacious D 90s covers album!?" Another fan hilariously challenged, "Now we just need Brittany Spears to sing a tenacious d song." A fan of the musician's cover replied, "I'd love a pop goes punk-esque album of tenacious d covering random 90s pop songs." Many more fans called for the cover to be released, as well as more requests for the album of covers.
