The Black Crowes have announced their new album, Happiness Bastards, their first new album in 15 years.

Its lead single, "Wanting and Waiting," is out now and can be heard below. The track is available for streaming and download here.

As for Happiness Bastards, the album is due out on March 15 and is available for pre-order/pre-save here.

There are clearly some high hopes and major swagger behind the LP. An announcement for the album states, "Call it brotherly love or music destiny that brought them back together, the highly anticipated record consecrating the reunion of this legendary band just may be the thing that saves rock & roll. In a time where the art form is buried beneath the corporate sheen of its successors, The Black Crowes are biting back with the angst of words left unsaid penned on paper and electrified by guitar strings, revealing stripped, bare-boned rock & roll."

A number of days in rock history were marked by the release of classic albums that came out on the same day.

Examples of this span a number of decades. In the 1960s, The Beatles were involved in two of these instances with The Kinks and David Bowie. The 1970s saw The Rolling Stones release an album on the same day as the Ramones said "Gabba Gabba Hey!" to the world. In the 1980s, heavy metal icons Judas Priest released a classic album on the same day Iron Maiden dropped their debut. As for the 1990s, you'll be shocked to learn just how many times classic LPs were released on the same day. By "classic LPs," we mean some of the great albums of all time.

Here are 20 times multiple classic albums came out on the same day.
