Let's be honest, some records are stranger than others. Not every record in the books can be "touchdown passes thrown." Sometimes, they're much weirder. UPI found 10 of the oddest Guinness World Records of 2023.

UPI.com points out that there are more than 40,000 records in Guinness World Records' database. They range from very common to absolutely odd.

Yeah, that record isn't getting beat any time soon.

Most Magic Tricks Underwater In Three Minutes

This record is held by a 13-year old! Avery Emerson Fisher combined her interests of scuba and magic when she performed 38 tricks in one minute while submerged in a tank at San Francisco's Aquarium of the Bay, according to UPI. UPI says "she hopes her record will inspire others to take up scuba diving and raise awareness of ocean conversation."

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
