Patriots’ Mac Jones Celebrates His 25th Birthday Ahead Of The Season Opener

All eyes on Mac Jones. The New England Patriots quarterback has a big week ahead of him. Today, he celebrates one quarter of a century on this earth. And Sunday he celebrates starting a new season with the Patriots. The season starts in Foxboro this Sunday, September 9 at Gillette Stadium. And #10 will take the field as the starting QB. Sending best wishes for the Patriots’ Mac Jones as he celebrates his 25th birthday ahead of the season opener!

Happy birthday Mac! Michael McCorkle Jones was born September 5, 1998 in Jacksonville, Florida. He’s not the only athlete in the family! According to Wikipedia, Mac’s dad, Gordon, played tennis at Florida State University and Flagler College. Meanwhile, Mac’s brother, Will, played soccer at Mercer University and his sister, Sarah Jane, played tennis for the College of Charleston. Here’s a fun fact. Did you know, Mac worked as a child model and actor? He even made appearances in commercials. And here’s your proof!

But today we celebrate Mac the quarterback, on this his 25th birthday! The former Alabama Crimson Tide QB was one of the top quarterback prospects of the 2021 NFL Draft. He was eventually selected 15th overall by the New England Patriots.  Jones was “the last of five quarterbacks, and the fourth of six Alabama players taken in the first round. Jones was also the first quarterback drafted in the first round by the Patriots since Drew Bledsoe in 1993 (Wikipedia). Mac signed his 4 year rookie contract, reportedly worth $15.6 million, on July 6, 2021.

    Well, you knew this name was coming. We all know Jennifer Lopez’s new hubby grew up in Cambridge. We’ve seen him at many a Red Sox game. But, of course the Academy Award winning actor is also a Patriots fan. He has tried to pass on his love to his children, but as Ben Affleck told Jimmy Kimmel back in 2019, his son isn’t having it, because, “he’s from LA.” Fast forward this video to about 3:34 and see what Ben did to his son’s room.
