Beloved Swan Boats Are Back At Boston’s Public Garden
It’s been a tradition in our beautiful city for 146 years, and it’s back. Our beloved Swan Boats are Back at Boston’s Public Garden starting this weekend, April 15th! It’s the best ride in the city. For only $4.50 for adults, $3 for kids (2 and under free), you can soak in all that is Spring and all that is historic Boston at the Public Garden.
The Swan Boats at the Boston Public Garden lagoon have become an unofficial launch of Spring in Boston. They have been owned and operated by the Paget family, since their initial launch in 1877 by shipbuilder and Irish immigrant Robert Paget.Once again, the alluring wooden swan boats will push off from the dock at the lagoon. The tranquil ride around the lagoon is not just for tourists. It’s for lovers of Springtime and all that is Boston. Open daily from 10-4 through June 20, and from 10-5 June 21 through September 4.
