6% of People Think It’s Fine to Pee in Swimming Pools
A new poll has been taken about swimming and peeing, and 41% of respondents think you should just go to a bathroom, rather than peeing in the ocean or pool. Another 48% of respondents said that it is okay to pee in the ocean, but not in a swimming pool.
It was reported that 5% of people think it is fine to pee in both oceans and swimming pools. Furthermore, about 1% of respondents said it is okay to pee in a pool, but not in the ocean, because that makes sense.
In other words, 6% of people are okay with peeing in a pool.
Obviously, this is the wrong answer.
In addition to being unpleasant, urine also messes up a swimming pool’s chemistry, which is vital to keeping the water safe. Moreover, it uses up the chlorine in the pool that is needed to kill bacteria, and it also alters the pool’s pH, which is detrimental to the pool’s chemical balance.
You may be wondering who is peeing in the pool. According to the survey, 10% of 18- to 24-year-olds believe it’s okay to pee in the pool, while only 2% of 65 and older adults agree with this statement.
