All in all, it didn't take long for Boston Calling Music Festival to find a Friday headliner to replace Foo Fighters.

And if you paid attention to the clues, it wasn't hard to figure out who the replacement would be.

The emoji was the key: Nine Inch Nails will be your Friday headliner at the 2022 edition of Boston Calling. The festival is set to take place this Memorial Day weekend.
