Boston Calling Announces Nine Inch Nails as Friday Headliner
NIN really came to be because Trent Reznor was a janitor at a recording studio whose owner let him record for free during open studio time. The lesson? Even if your job isn’t exactly in your desired field, you never know what might come from it.
All in all, it didn’t take long for Boston Calling Music Festival to find a Friday headliner to replace Foo Fighters.
And if you paid attention to the clues, it wasn’t hard to figure out who the replacement would be.

The emoji was the key: Nine Inch Nails will be your Friday headliner at the 2022 edition of Boston Calling. The festival is set to take place this Memorial Day weekend.
