School is out for the summer at Lowell High School, which is a good thing: they'll need the summer break to fix things up after a recent flood.

The 100-year-old building suffered a water main break, causing a flood which left Lowell High's music and drama programs underwater. When word got out, Ernie Boch Jr. and his Music Drives Us organization stepped in to replace the instruments lost in the flood and to offer assistance with cleaning up and restoring the damaged space.

Westborough's Hollywood Salvage has also stepped up and offered to replace lost items in the drama department. WCBV-TV has more on the story, including ways you can donate to help the arts program get back on its feet.
