LAS VEGAS - JUNE 11: Cheap Trick bassist Tom Petersson appears during a news conference to announce "Sgt. Pepper Live," an exclusive engagement at the Las Vegas Hilton June 11, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The rock group will be accompanied by a full symphony orchestra for nine shows in September as they perform songs by The Beatles including the album, "Sgt. Cheap Trick‘s master of the 12 string bass, Tom Petersson, took time to call into the ROCK 92.9 studio for a chat with Adam 12.

Tom talked about having to buy copies of Cheap Trick records when the label wouldn’t give him any promos, missing out of a year of playing out, and a bit about autism advocacy through his Rock Your Speech organization. Oh, and he talked a ton about the new Cheap Trick album In Another World, which is out now and will see a special blue-splatter vinyl release on June 4. Listen below.
