For years, Wayne Coyne of alt-rock band The Flaming Lips has performed sets live in bubble. So why not stick the audience in one?

That's precisely what the band did in their hometown of Oklahoma City just days ago. The Lips took to the stage at the Criterion and performed for an audience where each member was safely encased in a giant inflatable space bubble. Is this the future of concerts pre-COVID? It's worth considering. At the very least, you don't run the risk of a fellow concertgoer spilling their drink on you. Take a look at the footage below.
