We timed this perfectly: this week's Virtual Summer Concert is one that was supposed to happen at Fenway Park this summer.
We've been celebrating all of the acts we're missing at the old ballpark this week with our Fenway Faux Fest. So let's shine the spotlight on Green Day and Weezer, who we'll be able to catch as part of the Hella Mega Tour in summer of 2021. We have a set from each for you to rock out to below.
We'll start with a primo bootleg of Green Day at the House of Blues in Boston just a few short years ago, from their 2016 Revolution Radio tour.
We'll go a bit further back for Weezer and catch them at Avalon in the summer of '94.
