Joan Jett has been keeping busy while in COVID quarantine. First, she jammed remotely with the Blackhearts. Now, she’s featured on a new, old track.
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts released “Fake Friends” on their Album album in 1983. Now, alt-rockers L7 are covering the song on their first album in 20 years. And they coaxed Joan Jett into guesting on the cover. It probably wasn’t too much of a task, as the album is coming out on Jett’s own Blackheart Records.
