Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara is used to motivating his teammates on the ice or in the dressing room. But without any games, he's turned to pumping up the general public.

Chara posted a video for fans to his Instagram account Monday morning. In the video, he thanked those on the front lines fighting the COVID-19 epidemic. He also added a positive message for those generally struggling with the new way of life under coronavirus protocol.

“I know as a Bostonian people we are tough and resilient, so there is no doubt we’ll get through this and be much stronger in the end,” Chara says. “I can’t wait to see you guys at the TD Garden again. Until then, keep safe, healthy, and disciplined.”

Perhaps the most relatable part of the video though, is Chara's sigh at the beginning. That is the inhale/exhale of somebody who has been indoors way too long, and is feels like the default way for anybody to start a conversation right now.
